Worship Ministries Home
Welcome to the worship page on the Trinity Fellowship website. While the totality of a Christian’s life should be lived in worship to our Maker and Redeemer, the worship ministry at Trinity Fellowship focuses mostly on our Sunday morning meetings – and what a blessing it is to come together as a family and worship our great God.
Hopefully, this page will answer most of your questions about the worship ministry. To understand our guiding principles, see our Values below. To explore being part of the worship ministry, see Getting Involved. To see what we have planned for the future it’s Vision. To view this quarter’s worship team schedule see Schedules.
Values
God-ward: We desire that our focus be on our great God, His excellence, His attributes, His activity, and His worthiness of praise, not on ourselves, be it our experiences or our level of commitment to Him.
Expecting the powerful presence of God: We fully expect and desire to meet with God in a special way during our corporate worship times, believing that God, the author of our salvation, desires this even more than we do.
Bible based and Bible saturated: The various elements of our worship must conform to Scriptural truth.
Head and Heart: We desire that our worship engage heartfelt emotional responses based on a clear understanding of our God and His Word.
Passionate Sincerity: Our worship should be honest and sincere, without hypocrisy, and not a perfunctory ritual, nor trite or clichéd, nor flippant or frivolous.
Experiential Participation: Everyone has a valuable contribution that they are encouraged to offer.
Mingling of Various Elements: Within the context of a primarily contemporary worship service, we seek to incorporate both “fine culture” and “folk culture”, fresh expressions of praise along with those that have stood the test of time.
Focused and Free: The worship teams and leaders prepare for each Sunday service, but we value and encourage freedom and personal participation among all those gathered.
